Alumni Association Sponsors Trip to Renaissance Festival

SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury University Alumni Association Student Interaction Committee sponsors a trip to the Maryland Renaissance Festival in Crownsville, MD, Saturday, September 20.

A bus leaves Guerrieri University Center at 8 a.m. The bus leaves Crownsville at 7 p.m. Seats cost $10 each and do not include admission to the festival. Transportation is free for SU students. Admission to the festival for those ages 16 and over purchasing tickets through the Alumni Association is $13. Admission for children ages 7-15 is $6, and children 6 and under are admitted free.

The second largest Renaissance festival in the United States, the event includes entertainment, crafts, food, jousting and games. The SU alumni trip takes place during Pirates Weekend at the festival. Pirate costume contests are held for adults and children.
