SU Children's Choir Performs Debut Concert

Childrens ChoirSALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury University Children’s Choir performs its debut concert 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 19, in Holloway Hall Auditorium.

    Directed by Alice Wigfield, the ensemble is comprised of 47 local students from 18 elementary, middle and high schools in Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Dorchester, Sussex and Accomack counties, ranging in age from 9-17.

    They perform a mix of traditional, classical and folk music, as well as spirituals, accompanied by pianist Ginger Rizzi and guest instrumentalists. The concert also features a cappella selections.

Sponsored by the Music, Theatre and Dance Department, admission is $5, free for children under 8.
