SU Faculty Works Featured During 'Methods' Exhibit

'Methods' SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University art faculty display new works during the exhibit “Methods,” February 15-March 30 at SU Art Galleries Downtown.

A reception and informal artist talk are 5-7 p.m. Friday, February 15.

The exhibit draws a conceptual comparison between the creative process and the scientific method. Artists make observations of the world around them, conduct artistic experiments and then analyze those creative risks to form a conclusion or finished piece.

Often these “experiments” are related to teaching, either as ideas for instructional material or creative sparks lit by time in the classroom.

Sponsored by the Art Department and SU Art Galleries (SUAG), admission is free and the public is invited. Gallery hours are noon-5 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, noon-4 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
