15th SU Variety Show Combines Town and Gown April 16-17

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University President Janet Dudley-Eshbach is among participants including Salisbury City Council President Mike Dunn and Police Chief Allen Webster scheduled to appear during SU’s 15th annual Variety Show 7:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday, April 16-17, in Holloway Hall Auditorium.

Dudley-Eshbach sings and plays folk guitar during the program as one of a number of SU and community performers. Dunn and Webster host along with SU students Brian Gilmore, Brian Kuhn, Jessica Padgett and Trish Whiteoak.

Following a long-standing tradition, the program begins with a light show provided by the event’s sponsor, the SU E-crew, under the direction of Tony Broadbent. From there, the evening showcases some of the best talent SU and surrounding communities have to offer. The group Tuscan Radio is the pit band, playing between acts.

“The Variety Show is a chance for us to show what our students can do and invite the community to join in the fun,” Broadbent said.

Tickets are $5 and may be reserved in advance. SU ID holders are admitted free. The public is cordially invited.
