Jackson Chamber Series Presents the ATOS Trio November 16

ATOS TrioSALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Peter and Judy Jackson Chamber Music Series continues with the ATOS Trio 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.

Comprised of pianist Thomas Hoppe, violinist Annette von Hehn and cellist Stefan Heinemeyer, the ensemble has performed at some of the world’s most prestigious venues, from Carnegie Hall in New York to London’s Wigmore Hall, since 2003. The trio has played festivals and concerts throughout the U.S., Europe and South America.

ATOS has won the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson International Trio Award, considered the gold-standard prize for trios in the U.S. The BBC has recognized the group as a “New Generation Artist.” Other prizes have been awarded at festivals and competitions in London, Graz and Melbourne.

The Washington Post has hailed it as “one of the elite piano trios playing before the public today.” The Chicago Tribune has praised the trio’s “brilliant and emotive” performances. The Detroit Free Press has lauded the group among “the finest chamber ensembles.”
