Singer-songwriter Scott Jarrett Performs at SU Wednesday, November 19

Scott Jarrett SALISBURY, MD---Singer-songwriter Scott Jarrett performs 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, in Salisbury University’s Holloway Hall Auditorium.

His first album, Without Rhyme or Reason, included some of New York’s most highly regarded musicians — Dave Grusin, Marcus Miller, Chris Parker, Eddie Gomez, Ralph MacDonald and Toots Thielemans — as well as his brother, award-winning jazz pianist Keith Jarrett.

As a producer, engineer and designer, Jarrett has worked with artists including Willie Nelson and served as music director for many live theatrical performances including the Broadway production of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. He is also the co-author of Music Composition for Dummies. He currently teaches music technology and business at the Santa Fe University of Art and Design.

The Santa Fe, NM-based arts and entertainment magazine Pasatiempo has called Jarrett’s work “touching and musically diverse.”
