Habitat for Humanity Benefits from Sea Gull Century Proceeds

SALISBURY, MD---Many cyclists who rode in Salisbury University’s 25th Sea Gull Century were pedaling for charity.

In addition to their efforts, event organizers from the SU Foundation, Inc. have donated $4,904.05 to Habitat for Humanity of Wicomico County from the 2013 Century. Contributions have topped $124,000 over the years.

“We are pleased to continually support our local Habitat for Humanity chapter each year with funds raised through the Sea Gull Century,” said coordinator Amy Waters, SU’s director of leadership giving and stewardship.
