SU Faculty, Students Featured in Community Players' 'Les Miserables' Nov. 1-3

Les MiserablesSALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University faculty and students join other area performers during the Community Players of Salisbury’s upcoming production of Les Misérables.

Directed by Sharon Benchoff with musical direction by Phyllis Oldham, performances are Friday-Sunday, November 1-3 at Wicomico High School. Curtain is 8 p.m., 2 p.m. Sunday.

John Wright of SU’s Music Department portrays Valjean. SU students in the cast include Jeremy Bernstein, Brittany Eaton, Meredith Hazel, Syed Jaffery, Amanda Lundstrom, Jacob Moss, Lauren Shockley and Leah Wilson. Lighting design is by Travis Comegys, also an SU student.

Tickets are $20, $17 for seniors and students. A family ticket package is available for $57. For tickets and more information visit the Community Players’ website at
