'Wordstock' Celebrates Words at SU Thursday, May 3

WordstockSALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University celebrates words — spoken, written, sung, rapped, enacted and even chanted — during Wordstock from 2-7 p.m. Thursday, May 3, in front of Fulton Hall.

Participants are invited to share their own works or interpretations of others’ beneath the Wordstock tent during this afternoon of tie-dye, guitars and peace signs. Those wishing to participate should RSVP with Dr. Nancy Mitchell of the SU English Department at by Friday, April 20.

Sponsored by the Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts and English Department, admission is free and the public is invited.
