SALISBURY, MD---Poet Paul Lisicky continues Salisbury University’s spring Writers-on-the-Shore series, reading from his works 8 p.m. Thursday, March 8, in the Montgomery Room of the Commons.
The author of Lawnboy, Famous Builder, The Burning House and the forthcoming Unbuilt Projects, Lisicky is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and a National Endowment for the Arts award winner. His work has appeared in anthologies and magazines including Ploughshares, The Iowa Review, StoryQuarterly, The Seattle Review, Subtropics and Gulf Coast, among others.
Lisicky lives in New York City and Springs, NY. He has taught in the graduate writing programs at Cornell University, Rutgers University-Newark and Sarah Lawrence College. He currently teaches at New York University.
