Umdabu Dance Company Performs at SU Friday, October 15

SALISBURY, MD---The Umdabu Dance Company performs at Salisbury University 7 p.m. Friday, October 15, in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.  (This event has been moved from Red Square due to rain.)

Based in Birmingham, AL, the Umdabu Dance Company is dedicated to the preservation and presentation of traditional and contemporary South African history and culture, particularly that of the Zulu people. Since 2000, the group has worked under the artistic direction of veteran South African dancer, choreographer and drummer Johannes “Jomo” Xulu.

Sponsored by the Offices of Cultural Affairs and Multicultural Student Services, the Multicultural Student Alliance and the SU Step Squad, the performance is free and the public is invited.
