SU Welcomes Lt. Governor for Veterans Health Meeting

Brown and Dudley-Eshbach

Salisbury University President Janet Dudley-Eshbach welcomed Maryland Lt. Governor Anthony G. Brown to campus for the fifth meeting of the Maryland Veterans Behavioral Health Advisory Board which Brown chaired.  The Advisory Board is dedicated to improving and expanding treatment options for veterans, especially those in rural areas.  It has met across the state and engaged local leaders, veterans and public health professionals to discuss challenges and needs of each region’s veteran population.  An aviation officer in the U.S. Army from 1984-89, Brown is a member of the U.S. Army Reserve and served in Iraq with 353rd Civil Affairs Command from 2004-05.
