Award-Winning Entertainers Speak at Early Childhood Conference April 21

SALISBURY, MD---Emmy Award-winning puppeteer Ingrid Crepeanu and Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Michele Valeri present “A Show of Hands: Teaching Literacy through Puppetry” for parents and educators on Saturday, April 21, at Salisbury University.

Co-sponsored by SU’s Lower Shore Child Care Resource Center and the Judy Centers of Wicomico and Worcester counties, the early childhood conference is 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. in the Bistro of SU’s Commons.
This all-day, interactive event provides early childhood professionals with new skills for working with children.  Crepeanu and Valeri share materials and activities that may be used in early childhood classrooms, child care settings and other agencies that serve youth.
