“Financial Analysis for the Small Business” Course October 23

SALISBURY, MD---Analyzing finances is one of the most important aspects of running an efficient business.  However, finances can be one of the most confusing aspects of a business without any guidance.

“Financial Analysis for the Small Business” is a five-session course designed to continue the study of accounting as it relates to the small business.  The instructor will cover topics such as, accounting for inventory, depreciation, notes and dividends.  Participants will also learn to prepare and interpret financial reports that are commonly used in business.  Co-sponsored by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Salisbury University and Wor-Wic Community College, the next session is Monday, October 23 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Room GH 205 at Wor-Wic.

The fee is $66, including materials.  To register, contact Wor-Wic’s Office of Community and Continuing Education by calling 410-334-2815 by October 20.

For questions on this or other classes offered by the SBDC contact Jennifer Layton at 410-543-6516 or e-mail jwlayton@salisbury.edu.
