"Education Partnership Wins MATE Award"
SALISBURY, MD--The Regional Professional Development School Partnership at Salisbury University recently won an award from the Maryland Association of Teacher Educators.
The program, which unites universities and local educators to share ideas about school improvements and best teaching practices, was named a Distinguished Partnership in Teacher Education at the organization’s spring conference in Frederick.
The Partnership brings teacher candidates into local school systems across the Eastern Shore for hands-on training. Schools in Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester counties participate in the program.
