Agreement Signed to Enhance Entrepreneurial Information and Training for Small Business Community
SALISBURY, MD--Allan A. Stephenson, district director of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Baltimore Office, Richard F. Bebee, dean, Franklin P. Perdue School of Business, Michael Hoy, president, Delmarva Business League, and Dennis J. Hebert, director, Eastern Shore Small Business Development Center, signed a Memorandum of Understanding(MOU)recently.
The MOU will forge a partnership between SBA, the Perdue School of Business, the Delmarva Business League (a network of minority and small businesses) and the Eastern Shore Small Business Development Center to enhance entrepreneurial information and training to the small business community. Each organization will coordinate their services and resources to provide maximum benefits to the Eastern Shore small business community.
A series of workshops is planned to provide information on business development and loan programs to attendees. Workshops will be held at the Small Business Development Center located in Room 178 of the Power Professional Building in Salisbury. "Time to Make Your Business Plan and Put It Into Action"
Purpose: To establish the value of having a working business plan; and what is involved in creating one.
