SALISBURY, MD---A member of Salisbury State University's Board of Visitors and a former member of the SSU Alumni Association board of directors, Daniel H. The citation was presented on behalf of the citizens of Maryland and reads, in part, "in recognition of your outstanding service to the people of Maryland; in honor of the expertise, dedication and professionalism you have demonstrated working on behalf of the State and local government agencies in the field of telecommunications; and as an expression of our great respect, gratitude and sincere best wishes as you continue your successful career with the Fontran Corporation."
A native of Pocomoke City, MD, Gladding was recently relocated by Fortran Corporation to Birmingham, AL, where he is the on-site systems manager for the Social Security Administration's southeastern program service center.
Gladding resides in Vestavia Hills, just south of Birmingham.
