'Race, Colonialism and Imperialism in South Africa in the Post-Boer War Era' Lecture Nov. 8

Martin PlautSALISBURY, MD---Martin Plaut, former Africa editor for BBC World Service News, discusses “Race, Colonialism and Imperialism in South Africa in the Post-Boer War Era” at Salisbury University on Wednesday, November 8.

His presentation is 7:30 p.m. in Perdue Hall's Bennett Family Auditorium.

Plaut has published extensively on history and politics from across Africa, with special attention to South Africa and the Horn of Africa. His books include Who Rules South Africa?, Understanding Eritrea: Inside Africa’s Most Repressive State and Promise and Despair: the First Struggle for a Non-Racial South Africa.
