Anderson Continues Writers on the Shore Series October 18

Erin AndersonSALISBURY, MD---Multimedia storyteller Erin Anderson continues this fall’s Writers on the Shore literary series at Salisbury University, reading from her works 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, in the Worcester Room of the Commons.

Anderson is an audio producer and assistant professor in the Writing Program at the University of Pittsburgh’s English Department. Her work spans genres and platforms including narrative audio, multimedia nonfiction, and gallery installations.

She is the author and producer of What Hadn’t Happened, winner of The Atavist’s 2013 Digital Storymakers Award, and Our Time Is Up, recipient of the 2016 Sarah Lawrence College International Audio Fiction Award. She also recently developed an audio installation for the Smithsonian Institution’s ACC Creativity and Innovation Festival.

Anderson has published scholarly essays and multimedia works in several journals of writing, performance, and digital culture, including Liminalities, Enculturation, Reconstruction and Kairos. Her co-authored chapter (with Dr. Trisha Campbell), “Ethics in the Making,” is scheduled to appear in Making Things and Drawing Boundaries: Experiments in the Digital Humanities, forthcoming from the University of Minnesota Press.
