33rd Annual Fall Senior Art Show Opens Friday, November 18"

class=""MsoNormal"">SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University presents its 33rd annual Fall Senior Art Show in the University Gallery of Fulton Hall.

class=""MsoNormal"">The first half of the exhibit, featuring the works of 14 Bachelor of Arts students, opens Friday, November 18, and closes with a reception Friday, December 2. The second half, highlighting the art of seven Bachelor of Fine Arts students, opens Wednesday, December 7, and continues through Wednesday, December 17, with a reception Friday, December 9. Receptions are from 6-8 p.m.

class=""MsoNormal"">This semester’s show is unified by a symbolic fighter theme, inspired by vintage signage used to promote boxing events. Invitations, posters and even the food served reflects this theme, which was chosen to represent each artist’s hard work and determination to succeed.

class=""MsoNormal"">The Senior Art Show represents the culmination of an undergraduate’s college career, making it very important to students nearing graduation. The show’s organization takes an entire semester to develop and execute. The exhibit brings together B.A. and B.F.A. students from all artistic areas, including painting, glass blowing, ceramics, drawing, photography and graphic arts.

class=""MsoNormal"">Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, noon-4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. The gallery is closed Mondays and holidays. Sponsored by the Art Department and Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts, the exhibit is free and the public is invited.
