McNeill Earns CFRE Accreditation

SALISBURY, MD---Maureen McNeill, director of corporate and foundation relations at Salisbury University, was recently selected to join professionals accredited with the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation.

McNeill met a series of standards set by CFRE International, which include tenure in the profession, education, professional achievements and a commitment to service to not-for-profit organizations. She also passed a strict examination administered by CFRE and took an oath to uphold accountability standards and the Donor Bill of Rights.

            "As someone whose education in development has largely been gained on the job, it is rewarding to know that my investment and the University's investment in me is validated in this way. I hope it is further assurance to Salisbury University's donors of the level of professionalism we maintain," McNeill said.

            CFRE International is an independent organization whose sole mission is dedicated to the certification of fundraising executives by setting standards in philanthropy.
