Folger Debuts With Chamber Choir Sunday, December 7

SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury University Chamber Choir inaugurates SU’s winter concert season with a performance 4 p.m. Sunday, December 7, at Asbury United Methodist Church on Camden Avenue.

Based on the theme “Life’s Exposition and Coda,” the performance offers a blend of seasonal and holiday music. The concert includes works from Brahms, Fauré, Samuel Barber and Gorby Orban among others.

“It’s not just a holiday concert,” said Dr. William Folger, new director of the choir, who is making his area musical debut. He comes to SU from Concord College, WV. He earned his Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro.
