Pi Gamma Mu Donates $200 to Blackwell for Tribute Program

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Maryland Gamma chapter of Pi Gamma Mu international honor society in the social sciences recently presented a check for $200 to SU’s Blackwell Library for the 2003-04 Tribute Program. The program allows individuals, groups and organizations to purchase books to donate to the library in the name of an organization, favorite professor, administrator, mentor or loved one.

On hand for the presentation were Dr. Alice Bahr, dean of libraries and instructional services at SU; Susan Brazer, reference instruction librarian and director of the Tribute Program; Dr. Clara L. Small, co-advisor to Pi Gamma Mu and chancellor of the northeastern region for Pi Gamma Mu; Geoffrey McCool, president of SU’s Pi Gamma Mu chapter; and Dr. Michael Lewis, chapter co-advisor.
