Frei Selected to Attend Int'l Business Conference

SALISBURY, MD---David Frei, a senior majoring in management information systems in the Perdue School of Business at Salisbury State University, was recently selected by the Foundation for Student Communication to attend the Business Today International Conference in New York City. The conference, "Out with the Old, In with the New: Is this the Future of Business?," was attended by 200 students from as far away as New Zealand, Russia, South Africa, Sweden and Brazil. 

The three-day conference consisted of keynote speakers, panel discussions, a case study and executive seminars allowing students and executives an opportunity to interact on a more personal level discussing pressing issues for businesses and government. 

At the conference Frei attended presentations by chair and CEO of Duke Energy Richard Priory and the CEO of Pathmark Stores James Donald and Frei had the opportunity to meet with the CIOs of 1800 Flowers.com, Phillip Morris Companies and Time Inc., and the vice president of strategic initiatives for NASDAQ. 

Frei is the son of Mark and Robin Frei of Mt. Airy, MD.
