Your Work Incentives
Eligible State employees may apply for a minimum grant of $3,000
towards a down payment or settlement expenses for homeowners. The Live
Near Your Work program is sponsored by the Maryland Department
of Housing and Community Development. The application and other
required documents must reach the Local Government Administrator in the
jurisdiction of your new home at least 15 days before your
settlement. Application, instructions and more detailed
information regarding the program are available online
or in-person from the SU Human
Resources Office.
