Abstracts
Between October 5th and December 1st, 2007*, faculty
may submit abstracts using the Online Abstract
Submission Form (available Oct. 5, 2007) - be sure to
choose the "Create New Abstract - Faculty Submitters
Only" option after logging in.
*The deadline for submitting
an abstract for NCUR has been extended until 5:00 p.m.
EST, Monday December 3rd. FAN stands for Faculty
and Administrative Network and
FAN sessions meet at lunch so that they do not overlap
with student presentations. FAN sessions are designed to
share best practices with respect to working with
undergraduate students on research/scholarship they are
NOT designed for faculty to present the results of their
research. This year we encourage faculty members to
develop a presentation that fits within one of the
following themes: Institutional facilitation of
undergraduate research Community-based undergraduate
research Multidisciplinary and/or interdisciplinary
undergraduate research Integrating research into the
curriculum Discipline specific models of mentoring
undergraduate research/Discipline specific best
practices

registration process beginning on January 14, 2008.
