Leigh Usilton
LEIGH
USILTON, MA
Leigh Usilton is currently an Adjunct
Instructor of Voice at Salisbury University,
where she teaches Applied and Class Voice,
History of American Music Theatre, Music
Theatre Performance and Music Appreciation.
She also serves as choreographer for Music
Theatre Workshop productions and directed
the Music Department’s Madrigal Feast in
2009. She holds an MA degree from New York
University in Music Theatre Vocal
Performance and a BA degree from Salisbury
University in Vocal Performance. She has
studied voice with Dr. Brian Gill, Michael
Ricciardone, Dr. Michael Weber, and April
MacDonald.
Leigh performs frequently, most recently as
Olive Ostrovsky in The 25th Annual Putnam
County Spelling Bee, Emma Carew in Jekyll
and Hyde, Hope in Urinetown and Mabel in The
Pirates of Penzance. She has directed plays
and musicals for students K-12 and performs
frequently in local productions in Maryland
and Delaware.
