On January 6, 2006 at the 20th National Black Student Leadership Conference, Wendy Finley was nominated and received the “Wind Beneath My Wings Award” based on her leadership with the student Chapter of the NAACP, Coordinating of students for the Salisbury Urban Ministry Soup Kitchen and her planning of the Homecoming Parade for Fall, 2005. She received a scholarship and a crystal eagle for her recognition. In fact, she is the second Salisbury University student leader to receive ceive the award. Wendy is very involved in many activities across campus. Please give Wendy a hearty congratulations when you see her.
