Welcome to the
Management and Marketing Department Homepage. The
Department of Management and Marketing offers a wide
variety of courses intended for both business and
non-business majors, including courses leading to the
Bachelor of Science degree with majors in Management and
Marketing Management, a minor in Marketing Management,
and several interdisciplinary business majors and
Management courses include such topics as the management
of human resources, finances, raw materials, and
information. Management students learn to set goals,
formulate strategies, motivate people, and monitor
performance. Marketing courses help prepare students to
work in areas such as advertising, sales, market
research, product planning, purchasing, transportation,
and public relations. Management and Marketing skills
are applicable in virtually all types of organizations.

White House Honors Marketing Professor Paula Morris
SALISBURY, MD---The White House has honored a Salisbury
University marketing professor with the President’s Call to
Service Award for lifetime achievement.
Paula Morris was recognized for dedicating more than 4,000
hours of volunteer service to community programs for youth.
Salisbury’s Promise: The Alliance for Youth nominated her for
this national award.
