Pro Tools Workshop
June 10-14 and August 5-9, 2013
These sequential course offerings give Pro Tools 10 users with little or no experience a wide range of knowledge from basic setup through final mix down. The courses taken together will allow for User Certification on Pro Tools 10 upon successful completion of the PT101 Assessment Examination and the PT110 Certification Examination. This is the building block the Pro Tools 200-level certification courses. A Pro Tools Certification offers one more résumé bullet points; and for professionals an edge over their competition.
This course is designed for any audio enthusiast, any recording/mixing engineers with previous Pro Tools version experience or anyone starting out with PT10.
Leading the course is Avid Pro Tools Certified Expert and Instructor, Garrett Davis, who has worked with many major label gold and platinum selling artists and currently owns and operates West Main Recording in Downtown Salisbury. This non-credit, professional certification course is open to all students, faculty, staff and public. The cost is $1200 for the week-long combined courses. This includes all materials, textbooks and two attempts at the certification examination. Additional examination attempts may be purchased following Avid protocols.
