Studio


The IMC includes an HD video studio and
control room totally approximately 3,000 square feet. The HD
studio includes:

Standard Definition Video
Studio

The IMC includes a standard
definition video studio and control room totally over
1500 square feet. The SD studio includes:
3 Panasonic AG-HPX500 cameras
3 Panasonic AJ-D455 Video taper recorders
1 360 systems short cut 2000 hard disk recording
system
1 JVC SR-S365U S-VHS recorder Player
1 Ross Synergy 1.5MD Switcher
1 Avid Deko 1000 video character generator system
3 QTV MSP 15 teleprompter system
1 Avid video composer adrenaline video editing
system
Professional Studio Lighting
The television
studios are for academic functions only, normally scheduled
classes take priority over any outside functions.
The television
studios studio will be available for general academic use on
Friday ten to four or by prior arrangement with Media Services.
All work will be scheduled at least twenty four hours in
advance.
Media Services
will provide technical support for your scheduled session but
please remember that any media needed for production such as
blank DVD, Video Tapes or removable drives will be the
responsibility of the booking party.
This time period
is reserved for academic functions only! Non academic use is
limited to Tuesdays and Wednesdays five to eleven.
The studios
are available for outside and commercial functions for a
monomial cost, only during normal business hours and only with
an authorized representative of the university present. For

The Bluewaters Foundation Audio Recording Studio

The IMC includes an audio recording
studio and control room totaling over 1000 square feet. The
audio studio includes:
1 Yamaha DM2000V2-VCM Mixing
Console
1 Dididesign ProTools HD1 audio editing
software
1 Digidesign ProTools HD2 accelerator software
1 Digidesign ProTools M-Box 2 pro audio editing
system
2 Tascam CD recorders
3 Tascam multitrack recorders
The audio studio
is for academic functions only; normally scheduled classes take
priority over any outside functions.
The recording
studio will be available General Academic
use on Monday from five to ten in the evening and Tuesday one
until ten. All work will be scheduled at least twenty four hours
in advance using the signup sheet located at the Media Services
counter in TETC-334
Media Services
will provide technical support for your scheduled session but
please remember that any media needed for production such as
blank CD, Thumb Drives or removable drives will be the
responsibility of the booking party.
This time period
is reserved for academic functions only! Non academic use is
limited to Wednesday's four to eleven.

Video editing suites

The IMC includes 15 video editing suites.
Twelve are PC based and three and three operate on the Apple PAC
Pro.
PC suites (12)
include Avid media Composer software, Dell Precision 490
workstation with dual 20” monitors, and Tannoy speakers
MAC suites (3)
include Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro, MAC Pro workstations
and dual 20” monitors and Tannoy speakers
Audio Editing Suites
The IMC includes five audio suites. The
editing suites include:
Dell Precision 390 workstations
Mackie 1402VLZ3 mixer
Marantz cd/mp3 player/recorders
ProTool M-box 2 pro editing system
Tascam CD recorders
20” LCD monitor
Tannoy reveal 5A speakers
Distance learning/Teleconferencing rooms

SU supports five distance
learning/teleconferencing rooms. All include Polycom HD internet
based conferencing systems. Rooms also include computers,
sympodium annotation devices, Wolfvision document readers, DVD
players and projection equipment. Rooms and locations include:

TETC 381 (44 seats)
TETC 382 (30 seats)
CH 112 (16 seats)
TETC 327 (studio)
The Distance
Learning Facilities are for academic functions only; normally
