A source of searchable full text articles in psychology. The database contains full text articles from 52 psychology journals, including 44 APA journals.

 

Psychology & Behavioral Sciences Collection

 

Provides coverage of nearly 550 full-text journals, including more than 500 peer-reviewed titles. The Psychology & Behavioral Sciences Collection covers topics such as emotional and behavioral characteristics, psychiatry & psychology, mental processes, anthropology, and observational and experimental methods.

 

        Academic Search Complete

Provides abstracts and indexing for over 7,000 journals. Full text of articles for over 4,000 scholarly publications, including more than 3,100 peer-reviewed publications. Multidisciplinary coverage of subjects including: social sciences, humanities, education, computer sciences, engineering, physics, chemistry, language & linquistics, arts & literature, and medicine.

     

        Social Sciences Abstracts

Provides indexing and abstracts for more than 520 publications with some links to full-text in other databases.  Coverage includes fields such as addiction studies, anthropology, economics, gender studies, gerontology, minority studies, political sciences, psychology and sociology.

     

        MEDLINE  

Provides abstracts and indexing using Medical Subject Headings (MESH) for about 4,600 biomedical journals published in the U.S. and 70 foreign countries.

 

       Science Direct

 

Provides abstracts and indexing for more than 1800 journals. Full text of more than 800 journals is available to USMAI institutions. Some articles are in languages other than English. It includes extensive coverage of the physical and biological sciences, significant numbers of journals in the social sciences, and some journals in the humanities.

 

      Web of Science

Provides seamless access to the Science Citation Expanded®, Social Sciences Citation Index®, and Arts & Humanities Citation Index™. It enables users to search current and retrospective multidisciplinary information from approximately 8,500 of the most prestigious, high impact research journals in the world. ISI Web of Science also provides a unique search method, cited reference searching. With it, users can navigate forward, backward, and through the literature, searching all disciplines and time spans to uncover all the information relevant to their research. Users can also navigate to electronic full-text journal articles.
