Use the online catalog
to search for scores in Blackwell Library and other libraries in
the University System of Maryland.
- Blackwell Library has some scores in book form. These are located in
the regular book collection on the second floor.
- Scores may also be borrowed from other libraries in the University System
of Maryland using the "hold" feature of the VictorWeb online catalog.
The easiest way to search for scores in VictorWeb is to select the the
"Advanced Search" option and type in the composer's last name plus a
keyword from the name of the work. For example:
| Author or Name: |
Beethoven |
Then, under "Limiting Options," go to "Limit by Media Type" and use
the dropdown menu to select "Musical Score."
Note: Popular names, such as "Moonlight Sonata" are not always used
in the catalog; therefore, searching with these names may produce incomplete
results.
