You should always depend on the online
catalog as your primary method of finding books in the library.
However, it is often helpful to browse the shelves as well.
You will find the music collection on the second floor, in the last group of
shelves on the front row.
Books in the library are arranged on the shelf according to the Library of
Congress classification system. All music books have a call number
beginning with the letter "M" followed by other letters and numbers. Here
is an outline of the arrangement of books in the music section.
