    The online catalog for SU and other USM libraries.  To find book-length critical studies and compilations of critical essays, do a KEYWORD search using the literary author's name with the word "criticism."

    Humanities Abstracts
    An index covering many of  the most prominent scholarly journals in literature.  Look for the  "library" symbol that  indicates journals available in our library.

    MLA
    The most  comprehensive source for literature studies; covers books, book chapters, journal articles, dissertations, and other materials.  Search the literary author's name and/or the name of the work.   Use VictorWeb to find out if these items are available in our library or through the USM system.

    Project Muse
    Contains full-text for more than 20 scholarly journals in the field of literature.

    An interdisciplinary index for many journals in literature with full  text for most.
