Mental Measurements Yearbook (MMY):
MMY provides a comprehensive guide to over 2700
contemporary testing instruments and information needed for an
evaluation of test products for psychology, education, and
business. Entries contain descriptive information (purpose,
publisher, pricing) and edited reviews written by content area
experts.
This electronic version of Mental Measurements
Yearbook provides information on tests that are described in
volumes 9 - 15 (1985-current).
Primary
Search:Primary Search, designed specifically for elementary
school libraries and public library children's rooms,contains full text for more than 60 popular, elementary
schoolmagazines. All full
text articles areassigned a reading
level indicator (Lexiles). This
database also offers indexing and abstracts for nearly100 magazines. Full text is
also available for over 100 student pamphlets.
This database also providesthe American Heritage Children's Dictionary, 3rd Edition
from Houghton Mifflin, and an Image Collectionof 107,135 photos, maps and flags. Many full text titles
are available in native (searchable) PDF, orscanned-in-color. Full text backfiles to 1989,
indexing/abstract backfiles to 1984.
Professional
Development Collection:Professional Development Collection, designed for
professional educators, provides a highly specializedcollection of more than 550 high quality education
journals, including more than 350 peer-reviewedtitles and contains more than 200 educational reports.
The most comprehensive/valuable collection offull text education journals in the world.
Indexing/abstracts provided for more than 700 journals. Themajority of full text titles included in the database are
available in native (searchable) PDF, or scanned-in-color.

Collection dates as far back as 1965.
Tests in Print (TIP):
Tests in Print (TIP) provides vital information to users
including test purpose, test publisher, in-print status, price,
test acronym, intended test population, administration times,
publication date(s), and test author(s). TIP serves as a
comprehensive bibliography to all known commercially available
tests that are currently in print in the English language.
Teacher Reference Center:
Provides indexing and
abstracts for over 280 of the most popular teacher and
administrator tradejournals to assist
professional educators.
Physical Education Index:Over 300 sources are
currently indexed, though not all are comprehensive. Over
250,000 records canbe searched, with
approximately 1,000 added every month. An online thesaurus is
available.Coverage: Covers academic
and recreational information concerning physical education,
physical therapy,sports, medicine,
coaching, legal issues and related topics. Time span: 1970 to
present.

Provides full-text articles from
approximately 1,560 journals, with indexing and abstracting from about
2,730 journals. The full-text dates back to 1990 whereas the
abstracts date back as far as 1984.
ArticleFirst: Indexes 16,000 sources with over 19,600,000
records in business, humanities, medicine, science, social
sciences, technology and popular culture from 1990 to the
present. Contemporary
Women's Issues:Indexes 1,500
sources including books and journals and provides links to
full-text when available. Over35,000
records are available and are updated on a weekly basis.
CWI covers numerous subject
areas pertaining to women's issues, such as lesbian concerns,

Children's Digital Library - This site makes the best in children's
literature available online. The mission is to encourage

- A site dedicated to educating children about space, with numerous activities. Yahoo! Kids
