- Click on 'Company
Profiles' in the top toolbar on the left hand side for
company information
- Company Profile
should provide SWOT analysis for most public companies.
- Use the "Limit Your
Results" box to narrow down publication dates.
Business and Company Resource Center
- Business Insights: Essentials brings together in a
single database company profiles, company brand information,
rankings, investment reports, company histories,
chronologies, and periodicals.
Hoover's Company Information
- This database provides full-text information about
companies, industries, and the people who lead them
as well as a list of competitors.
- Includes a brief company history
- Some information on private companies
included
LEXIS-NEXIS Academic Universe
Stock Report sources
include Nelson's Company Research Reports, Nelson's Consensus
Earnings Estimates, Vickers Institutional Holdings, Vickers Securities
Report, & Zacks Investment Research.

From L-N's front page, click on the 'Business' category on the left
tool-bar.

On the next screen, click on the link to 'Company
Profiles'.

Type your company name or ticker symbol in the first dialogue box.
- Select 'Stock Reports' from the Source pull-down menu.
- Choose a date field as appropriate (suggest 1 year).
- Click on the 'search' button.

Under 'Reports', enter a
company's ticker or name and click on 'Go'.

BigCharts - Historical Quotes
Pricing data goes back a number of years, however, the
researcher will need to input each date separately.
Standard & Poor's - Credit Ratings
Free credit ratings information provided after a free
registration process.

Click on "Find a Rating" on the left
toolbar.

You will be asked for your ID and
password. Click on the register link at the bottom if this
is your first time using the source.
