When your Gull Card (your SU id card) is registered with the library, you will be enabled to do the following:

• Borrow books and other materials

• Request books and articles through Interlibrary Loan

• Place holds on books in the University System of Maryland and recall books

• Search the library's databases from off-campus locations using MdUSA

Registration of your Gull Card is automatic upon registering for classes.

If you have previously been registered as an undergraduate, you may wish to update your status.  Your registration will remain in effect as long as you are enrolled as a graduate student and continue using the same ID barcode.  If your Gull Card is replaced, you will need to register the new card.
