Databases are available for research
in a variety of fields of study and can be accessed through the library.
From the library's home page, you will find a link for
Index and Article Databases which can be
searched on-campus. You may search these same databases from off-campus by
using Research Port. From the
Research Port main page, you may login remotely by entering your 14-digit
bar code from your Gull Card and your last name.
As a graduate student, you will also
want to become familiar with the databases that cover the scholarly and
professional literature in your field of study. Be sure to ask for
Reference help if you are not sure which databases are best for your topic
or if you have questions about using the databases.
