A Year in America Application Process
Applying to the Year in America Program
is a different process than applying as a student at the
University. Please see the directions below for more information
about how to join the program.
Entry Requirements
All Salisbury
Abroad: Year in America (SAYA) students should
have an English language competency equivalent to 460
TOEFL prior to participating in the SAYA program.
Students from SU's partner schools are recommended for
participation by their home universities and do not need to take the TOEFL exam. Students with lower level English language skills may
consider a full year of enrollment in the full-time
SU
English Language Institute.
The Application Process
To apply, please fill
out the Year in America Application,
together with supporting financial documents, and
return to Salisbury University.
Additionally, please submit high school diploma or current
university/college transcript.
