Add interactive questions/quizzing and go to MyClasses gradebook.
While in the Panopto edit menu, you can now add quiz questions to any existing Panopto video at any point during the presentation. Panopto also offers Canvas Gradebook Integration so Panopto sessions can now be added as assignments in MyClasses and students’ scores on Panopto quizzes will be reported in the Canvas gradebook.
You can add a quiz from the Quizzing tab in the editor. The quiz options include True/False, Multiple Choice, and Multiple Select. The default is multiple choice. Each quiz automatically pauses video playback, allowing viewers to take as much time as needed with each question.
After you have set up all of your quiz questions, you can set up your Quiz Options, which includes options such as allowing retakes and blocking advancement through the presentation until the quiz is answered.
New capability: Embed YouTube video
The HTML Editor in Panopto now supports embedding a Youtube video within a Panopto session. When embedding the video, you will have the option of specifying a start and end time for the YouTube video and you can control whether playback controls are visible to viewers.
Panopto offers a video tip with more details on how to embed a YouTube video into a Panopto Session.
New capability: Add/replace PowerPoint slides.
You can now add and replace PowerPoint slides by editing thumbnails on the timeline. You can delete old slides ("Events") and add new ones to replace slide content while preserving the lecture recording. You can access these editing options through the Advanced Editor.
