About the 3D Innovation Lab

The emerging technologies of 3D printing and the Internet of Things promise to reshape our lives just as the Internet itself did.  The Innovation Lab at Salisbury University provides members of the campus community with a window into this forthcoming world.

Any SU student, faculty or staff member may use the 3D printers for free once they have completed a short training session.

We welcome anyone from any major and any School to take part.

Our Innovation Consultants, who are SU students, are available 20 hours per week to discuss your 3D printing project needs with you.  Our Innovation Consultants can also help you with your Internet of Things project using the Arduino microcontroller.

Have you ever wished your refrigerator could text you when it is empty or your dog could email you when it is hungry?  You might find the Internet of Things is just what you need.  Can you see the benefits of your sock being on the Internet? Recently a young man did, and this led him to

Come find out for yourself in the Innovation Lab.
