Winter 2015 SAP TERP10 Certification Course
The second SAP TERP10 (Integration of Business Processes in SAP ERP) certification course was offered through the Information and Decision Sciences Department January 5-16 by Dr. Karen Papke-Shields and Dr. Kathie Wright. Students who are successful in the TERP10 certification course become SAP-Certified Associates, the entry-level consulting certification from SAP. Such success is external validation of these students’ understanding of the steps, the information flows and the accounting implications of the numerous processes addressed in the course:
In addition, the many and varied financial and managerial accounting aspects of these processes were also covered.
The class met daily for two weeks from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. with the exam on the last day. Although the class size was small, the group was very successful with all information systems majors earning the SAP Certified Associate – Integration of Business Processes in SAP ERP:
After a grueling two weeks of class, these students demonstrated their understanding of many of the business transactions performed using SAP ERP.
