Salisbury University invites applications for the position of Site Coordinator, Hagerstown Satellite Program.

Primary Job Duties: This position is a twelve month full-time non-tenure track position that will provide leadership and oversight to the Hagerstown Satellite Social Work Program; conduct field seminars and/or teach academic courses in the Fall and Spring semesters; advise both Undergraduate (BASW) and Graduate (MSW) Social Work students; recruit BASW and MSW students; assist with the Title IV-E Program; and support on-site adjuncts. Some travel required.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's in Social Work from an accredited institution; a graduate level Social Work license; at least two years of post-MSW professional practice/higher education experience; knowledge of Hagerstown/Western Maryland social service agencies.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching or field liaison role at the college/university level.

Desired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of course management software (i.e. WebCT, Blackboard, etc.) and distance or web-based instruction teaching social work courses; Field Liaison experience at the Higher Education level; Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain solid working relationships with community social service agencies; Ability to use effective teaching and classroom management strategies which enhance the success of diverse learners.
