Donna was nominated by the Fulton School Department Chairs for her invaluable contribution and dedication to the Fulton School. Diane Illig, Chair Sociology, noted “Donna is truly the glue that holds the Fulton School together! She can be counted on to find solutions quickly and confidentially.” Several Department Chairs noted a time when the Fulton Chair Committee was brainstorming ways in which to “go green” and Donna volunteered to setup and maintain a MyClasses site in which she personally scanned all of the curriculum proposals eliminating the need to make copies for every member of the committee. Mike Lewis, Director and Chair of Environmental Studies, acknowledged Donna’s ability “to always know the details of what needs to be done; in terms of completing a curriculum proposal, deadlines, timelines and progress of various Fulton committees.” Mike also recognized Donna’s involvement in the Fulton Appreciation Day for which she handles the bulk of the organization and execution of the event. Donna received overwhelming compliments on her support of new Department Chairs and her positive welcoming attitude to faculty, staff and the public. In closing, Dean Pereboom added, “Donna is invaluable to me and to my ability to do my job effectively…I am so pleased that the Department Chairs collectively have nominated her, and I strongly endorse the nomination!”
