David was nominated by Special Assistant to the President, University Analysis, Reporting and Assessment (UARA), Kara Siegert, due to his impactful contributions, hard work and supportive attitude. The nomination stated, “David’s hard work has helped UARA improve the Academic Program Review website into a resource that is easier to navigate and an efficient mechanism for reporting institutional progress toward assessing student learning. This work is integral to improving our internal procedures and providing evidence that we are meeting Middle States accreditation standards.” Among other projects, “David has worked with us to implement the Strategic Planning and Budgeting System…and the Middle States Document Repository. Both web tools have improved the efficiency of how we track and maintain all of the outstanding institutional efforts that make us a Maryland University of National Distinction.” In a letter of support, Todd Smith, Web Communications Manager, said, “Dave brings a friendly demeanor to customer service, doggedly pursues solutions and takes initiative when he sees what is needed.” In summary, David’s service to UARA and Salisbury University continues to support process improvements significantly contributing to the University’s successes.
