Service Worker Grounds Maintenance
Citron received a nomination from William Harris, Athletic Complex Manager and Acting Director of Horticulture/Grounds, for her hard work, positive attitude and reliability. Citron is very organized always keeping management apprised of the status of projects and assignments. Her excellent rapport with everyone she encounters is well known around campus. While her department has been challenged with staffing during the past year, “Citron has been the backbone of the recycling crew during this period…and has stayed positive throughout the entire period.” Bill Harris stated, “I leaned on her heavily to not only perform [recycling] duties but also educate me in all those little things that don’t get written down. Anytime I have a question, she can pull out her notebook and let me know that a certain task was accomplished on a specific day.” In closing, Director, Physical Plant, Kevin Mann, stated “Citron is basically running the recycling program until the supervisory position is filled. She is hard working and would be very deserving of the nomination.”
