March 2014
Donna Brittingham
Donna Brittingham
Administrative Assistant II
SU Foundation, Inc
Donna was nominated by Jason Curtin, Deputy Director of the SU Foundation, for her enthusiasm, helpful approach, and dedication to the SU Foundation. The nomination acknowledged “her positive attitude and customer service first demeanor which has been noted by so many friends and constituents. Her interactions with board members, donors, visitors and guests are always top notch and they are made to feel special because of her.” Donna’s personal initiative was evidenced through her actions to strengthen the Foundation by re-connecting with past board members and family members. In addition, Donna assumed a lead role in coordinating the Foundation’s 40th Anniversary celebration in December 2013 contributing to its success. In a letter of support for the nomination, a former board member said, “it is obvious that she takes initiative and great interest in our work.” Donna is a fantastic role model for the SU community and the Foundation. In closing, Jason noted “she is not only a proud alumna, but also a Sea Gull parent…who bleeds maroon and gold.”
