Mike was nominated for the Employee of the Month award for his outstanding service and excellent performance. His outstanding service is noted in the statement: “Mike is always a pleasure to work with and, no matter how many conflicting demands or what project he is assigned to, his top priority is always the customer and the end users. When a project is given to Mike, you know it is in good hands.” This level of service is supported by an equally high level of performance as Mike places careful and thorough thought into each project design even when presented with a simple idea which he turns into a successful product. This type of performance excellence was recently realized during the HR/Payroll automated contract renewal system project. “As a result of Mike’s attention to detail, a carefully thought-out and efficient contingent staff contract renewal system is now available to the campus community that has streamlined the contract renewal process greatly and will be a savings resource for SU.” In a closing note of support from Jeanette Wolinski, “Mike takes on the unique and ‘never tried before’ tasks and makes them work. He is a pleasure to work with, has a positive attitude, and loves a challenge. We are very fortunate to have him as a teammate and member of Salisbury University.”
