Karen Greer received a nomination from Lawanda Dockins-Gordy, Interim Associate Dean of Students, for her strong work ethic, excellent customer service, and “can-do” attitude. The nomination letter stated that Karen 'consistently goes above and beyond her job requirements to meet not only the needs of her position, but also volunteers for duties and assignments outside of her immediate department.” In addition, Karen serves on multiple committees to include the Student Affairs Professional Development, New Student Reader, and the New Student Communication Committees. In a note of support, Karen is portrait as having a “sense of student centeredness that permeates throughout her work and an unrestrained commitment to committee initiatives which truly reflects her engagement in creating a better environment for both students and staff members alike.” In closing, Lawanda Dockins-Gordy’s summarizes, “Karen’s enthusiasm is contagious, and so is her commitment to upholding and promoting Salisbury University as a University of National Distinction.”
